There are only three main spirits to tackle in the first section. The first two are relatively easy, but the mid-boss requires a lot of guesswork that prepares you for further fancy thinking later.

The first main ghost you face is the fellow reading a book by the fireplace. As cozy as he is in that chair, imagine how much more so he'll be in a vacuum bag! He disappears if you shine the light on him, so position yourself in a way that you can see his actions without casting any light on him.

After a while, he'll take a break from his gripping read and let out a yawn. At that moment, shine your flashlight on him to reveal his heart and then vacuum away.

This gentle lass is busy fixing her hair in the mirror. Go to the curtain that is closest to her and use your vacuum to expose the window. There is a hole in the window that creates a draft in the room.

The woman gets annoyed and gets up to close it. As she does, shine your light on her to reveal her heart and then use your vacuum to clean up the rest.

Be sure to pick up all the pearls she drops by moving around while vacuuming the ghost. You don't want to let her go to pick up the pearls since putting ghosts away in one go helps you earn a better rank.

This unassuming little tyke is the ?rst boss you encounter. To rouse the toddler, use your vacuum to rock the hobbyhorse next to the crib. The baby moves from his bed and sits on the horse.

Next, suck up the ball that's lying in the room. Aim and fire it at the baby, which will make him very, very angry and very, very large!

You'll be transported to an open area that appears to be a large bed. Baby's ?rst attack will be to throw large hobbyhorses at you. The horses come from one direction. You can dodge them by running in the opposite direction. At ?rst, only one zooms at you at a time, but mostly they will attack in twos.

Next, he tosses balls that scatter all over, looking for something or someone to roll over. After one slows down, use your vacuum to pick it up and shoot it at the baby. Wait for another ball attack to get another chance to hurt the boss.

Baby really doesn't like to get hit by balls, so he'll start to jump around the bed trying to squash you. This is fairly easy to avoid as long as you don't run in a straight line for too long. After this, he cycles through all previous attacks in this order.
