TN Games FPS Gaming Vest And Helmet

The ForceWear Vest is an interesting gadget that will really help put you in the game. It's a wearable vest that's studded with air bladders; you hook it up to a small air compressor which then plugs into your computer. Fire up a first-person shooter and the ForceWear Vest physically translates in-game damage onto your actual body; it takes some getting used to but it adds a tactile dimension to your gaming experience that things like rumble can't even begin to touch. The device does require special patches that add compatibility with your favorite games but it's just a simple matter of visiting TN Games' website and downloading a small file; the list of compatible games is fairly impressive, with notable hits like Quake 4, Doom 3, Half-Life 2: Episode One and Two, and Crysis included in the mix. As for the Helmet, it works on the same principle: you just plug it into the vest and it'll bump your noggin when you get shot in the head.

The whole setup is a little clunky and we're not sure how comfortable it all will be over the long run but the FPS Gaming Vest is a cool concept that definitely packs a punch.

Z-Dome Interactive Display

We don't know how it works or what it costs but damn, do we want one. The Z-Dome looks like something an evil Bond villain would have in their hideout. You really do have to see it to believe it: check out the vid and cross your fingers that the manufacturer produces an affordable consumer version soon.
