Rip-off of: Crazy Taxi

The Simpsons Road Rage could have easily been called Crazy Taxi: Simpsons Edition. Road Rage was Crazy Taxi skinned Simpson, and all you have to do is drive passengers around. If it wasn't for cast participation and the multitude of Simpsons quotes, Road Rage would have been extremely boring, but alas, any Simpsons fan probably played a little bit just to cackle at a couple of Moe lines here and there.

Rip-offs of: Super Mario Kart
Is Ms. Pac driving a pink Barbie Corvette?
The Super Mario Kart phenomena began a still-going equation: popular video game mascot and friends + go-karts = easy money. I can't even begin to wrap my brain around how many kart racers Super Mario Kart spawned, but I do know that none of them come close to the quality of the original MK (OK, Crash Team Racing was pretty good). Being the 21st century, can we please agree to leave the karting to Nintendo and find new ways to exploit our beloved digital friends? I'm glad that's settled.
