Play As Akuma, Dan, M. Bison, and more
Play as AkumaPlayer One: At the player-select screen, press and hold L2, move the cursor over the ??? box in the lower-left corner, and then press Left, Left, Left, Down, Down, Down, simultaneously press Square and Triangle. Akuma should appear in the box.
Player Two: At the player-select screen, press and hold L2, move the cursor over the ??? box in the lower-right corner, and then press Right, Right, Right, Down, Down, Down, simultaneously press Circle and X.
Play as Dan
Player One: At the player-select screen, press and hold R2 or L2, put the cursor over the ??? box in the lower-left corner, and quickly press Triangle, Square, X, Circle, Triangle.
Player Two: At the player-select screen, press and hold R2 or L2, put the cursor over the ??? box in the lower-left corner, quickly press Triangle, Square, X, Circle, Triangle.
Play as M. Bison
Player One: At the player-select screen, press and hold L2, move the cursor over the ??? box in the lower-left corner, and press Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Down, Down, simultaneously press Square and Triangle.
Player Two: At the player-select screen, press and hold L2, put the cursor over the ??? in the lower-right corner, and press Right, Right, Down, Down, Right, Down, Down, simultaneously press Circle and X.
Fight Akuma: To fight the hidden character Akuma, start a new game and pick Arcade mode. At the fighter-select screen, pick any fighter, then immediately simultaneously press and hold L2, R2, and X. Hold the buttons until the match starts. Just before you begin to battle, Akuma jumps in and fight you.
Play as Tough Akuma: To play as a much tougher Akuma character, start a game in Arcade mode. Then, at the fighter-select screen, put the cursor on Akuma, press and hold Select, then move the cursor over Adon, Chun-Li, Guy, Rolento, Sakura, Rose, Birdie, Akuma, Bison, Dan, and stop on Akuma. With the cursor on Akuma, press any button.
