- Hero's Saga Laevatein Tactics posted on 11/9/2009
- Another entry in the ever-growing selection of SRPGs on the DS, Laevatein Tactics doesn't quite blow away the competition but still remains a relatively solid, if flawed, strategy experience for the DS.

- LEGO Rock Band posted on 11/9/2009
- The rhythm game genre is reaching a saturation point and LEGO Rock Band is yet another example of publishers actively looking at new ways to try and keep things fresh and interesting for the established fan base. Unfortunately, while the LEGO brand has been enough to help other licenses like Star Wars and Batman find new life, it just doesn't do enough to elevate Rock Band to new heights.

- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (DS) posted on 11/3/2009
- With a successful outing at last year's Olympic Games under their belts, two of video gaming's biggest heavyweights return for the 2010 Vancouver-based Winter Olympics. A new Adventure Mode and plenty of snowy sports are just a few of the new additions to this sports compilation.

- Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble posted on 11/3/2009
- Even with copious amounts of fireballs, fan service and the occasional fighting kangaroo, many fighting games tend to take themselves a bit too seriously. Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble, the new side-scrolling brawler from Atlus looks to break that trend by introducing an incredibly silly storyline, zany characters and a heft dose of gratuitous machismo. Reviewer Nathan Meunier was pleasantly surprised at not only the game's tongue-in-cheek presentation, but it's fun and oftentimes wacky on-screen antics.

- C.O.P. The Recruit posted on 11/3/2009
- While not nearly as groundbreaking as it's console-based role models, Ubisoft's C.O.P. The Recruit serves as a solid sandbox title with some incredibly fun gameplay and inventive shooting and stealth scenarios.

- MagnaCarta 2 posted on 11/2/2009
- Even though it largely follows what very well could be excerpts from "The Idiot's Guide to RPG Plot", Heidi still found MagnaCarta 2 a relatively fresh and well-done role playing experience.

- Astro Boy: The Video Game posted on 11/2/2009
- One of Osamu Tezuka's most beloved creations was granted a silver-screen adaptation rather recently, complete with a complimentary videogame tie-in. Does this side-scrolling anime-influenced action title keep with the spirit of the fun-filled original anime, or does it fall sorely into quick cash-in territory?

- Dragon Age: Origins posted on 11/3/2009
- When we first saw Dragon Age at E3, we walked away skeptical, grumbling at the rough graphics and odd focus on character interactions that bordered on high school level drama. Compared to the butter smooth E3 demo for Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age looked like it would end up being the black sheep of the family. Well, shame on us for doubting the wizards at BioWare: they worked their magic and turned that early demo into another must-have masterpiece. Deep and engaging, it's sure to please any RPG fan looking for a long and satisfying adventure. Even better, it will keep us all busy until Mass Effect 2 comes out in 2010.

- Need for Speed: NITRO posted on 11/2/2009
- Even though it doesn't boast the same brand of gritty realism as such racing heavyweights as Forza and Gran Turismo, Need for Speed: NITRO's ridiculously fun flair was more than enough to win over reviewer Mitchell Dyer.
