- All-Star Baseball 2000 posted on 1/1/2000
- All-Star Baseball's double-play combo of electrifying gameplay and dynamite graphics make it the hardball game to beat this season so far. Griffey's still in development, but sports gamers would be fools to strike out on the opportunity to play Acclaim's newest grandslam title.

- Rampage 2: Universal Tour posted on 1/1/2000
- Rampage's appeal has always been its multiplayer contests, but UT's gameplay quickly becomes monotonous after you tire of pounding everything in sight. Furthermore, UT's merely adequate graphics and grating heavy-metal soundtrack don't help, either. Rampage 2: Universal Tour is strictly rental material.

- Lode Runner 3-D posted on 1/1/2000
- Although the game's full of running, jumping, and shooting, the core of Lode Runner 3D is its solid one-person puzzle game, which features good graphics, sounds, control, and enough variety and challenges to keep your attention. Welcome back, Lode Runner - it was worth the wait.

- Bust-A-Move 99 posted on 1/1/2000
- The best part about BAM99 is its gameplay. The simple premise of matching different colored bubbles to pull off huge combos is both easy and satisfying. BAM99's graphics are sharp and colorful, but busting a move on the four player modes' miniaturized screens will make your eyes sore. Worse yet the game's musical tracks are an annoyance. Even with these minor flaws. Bust-A-Move 99 provides undeniably addictive gameplay.

- WCW Nitro posted on 1/1/2000
- Nitro sports 60 WCW heavyweights like Sting and Goldberg, as well as new arenas and pay-per-view events like Starrcade and Halloween Havoc. Unfortunately, Nitro lacks the shine and polish of the other wrestling titles.

- Beetle Adventure Racing posted on 1/1/2000
- As far as N64 racing goes, Beetle Adventure Racing fights its way to the had of the pack - the joy of exploring all its cool tracks will make you feel like a kid in a candy store. This one's well worth buying.

- Freestyle Boardin' '99 posted on 1/1/2000
- If you want the best in snowboarding fun, stick with Cool Boarders 3. Freestyle Boardin' 99 pales upon comparison and should be considered only as a one-night rental.

- Point Blank 2 posted on 1/1/2000
- Point Black 2's rudimentary, pixelated graphics wouldn't challenge even 16-bit hardware, and the tinny, beepy sounds are annoying as hell. Still, the sheer variety of contests, modes, and two-player games makes this shooter momentarily fun even though there's not enough here to hold your attention in the long run. When the last clip is spent, Point Blank 2 is a rental-only title....but a fun one.

- Bust -A- Move 99 posted on 1/1/2000
- Exploding bubbles may not sound fun at first, but once you start, you'll find yourself busting a move all night long.

- Tai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger posted on 1/1/2000
- Tai Fu's strengths and drawbacks ultimately land this game squarely in the mediocre category. Rent or pass - this tiger just ain't got no bite.
